KRKL is a creative drawing app. We aim to collect only the information needed to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience.

Information we collect

KRKL does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or other profile information to use the app.

We use PostHog for product analytics. Through PostHog, the app may collect information such as:

• app interactions, including screens viewed and features used;
• events such as generating a new scribble, changing difficulty, drawing, undoing, clearing, or sharing;
• technical information about the app and device that is provided by the analytics SDK;
• a pseudonymous identifier used to distinguish app installations or users for analytics purposes.

Drawings and shared images

Your drawings are created on your device. KRKL does not upload the content of your drawings to our own servers. If you choose to share an image, sharing is handled through the iOS share sheet and the service you select is governed by that service’s own privacy practices.

How we use information

We use analytics information to understand how KRKL is used, identify problems, measure feature usage, and improve the app.

Analytics provider

KRKL uses PostHog as its analytics provider. Analytics data is processed through PostHog’s EU Cloud environment.

Sale of personal information

We do not sell your personal information.

Children

KRKL does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe personal information has been provided to us inappropriately, contact us and we will review the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or our data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
